Alex Dalgliesh

What my business card says:

Associate Vice President

What I actually do:

Whether developing marketing strategies and websites or designing media pitches and employee communication programs, I work every day to inspire action. After all, that’s what a good story should do – inspire passion in employees, inspire customers to purchase and inspire the public to take notice.

Marketing pedigree:

My passion for storytelling ignited while working in broadcast journalism. But after quickly learning I preferred making the news rather than reporting it, I jumped to the “dark side” of PR and marketing and haven’t looked back since.

Most recent success:

Developing a new brand for a top-400 privately held U.S. corporation and launching their two websites in less than one month.

Remind me to tell you the story about:

Signing up Spike Lee for the Reynolda Film Festival.

Book I recommend to clients:

“The Power of Habit” – it explains the psychology of personal change and gives a framework for how brands can shift consumer behavior to their favor.

What I do for fun:

Explore the outdoors with the help of my pug, Madison.

Education:

Wake Forest University, English major (yes, I’m a grammar nut) and journalism minor.

Title of my autobiography:

“Structure: The Secret Key to Communication Success”
