Day & Zimmermann is a privately held, diversified company that came to us with more than a century of history and experience working on innovative projects like the original construction of the Panama Canal and engineering the machines that wrapped the foil around the first Hershey Kiss.

But their accomplishments weren’t matched by their profile. The multi-billion dollar family-owned company spans a dozen industrial markets and needed to simplify and amplify its corporate identity.

Using one of the founders phrases, we coined the term Betterment, to represent all that they do. To bring the new offering to life, we created a new logo, graphic theme, messaging track, vision statement, enterprise strategy, internal brochures, posters and an internal employee web portal.
