What my business card says:
What I actually do:
As the Office Manager, I am sometimes the Mom of the office, making sure the office is stocked with plenty of coffee and brain boosting snacks. I am a “jack of all trades” but consider myself a professional generalist and not a master of none. I always look to simplify processes that can help make for a smoothly operating workplace for all.
Remind me to tell you the story about …
The time I landed a meeting with The Roots to facilitate a business partnership.
Book I recommend to clients:
The Sociopath Next Door – I have found this book particularly helpful in my career in working with clients, coworkers and competitors. Sociopaths are often successful business people and can be extremely charming and manipulative. I feel this book is just a great short read that is an informative guide in recognizing certain characteristics in individuals and learning how to deal with them.
What I do for fun:
I love the beach and any activity that involves warmth and sunshine. I am a licensed massage therapist and an amateur gourmet cook in my spare time and enjoy nothing more than feeding people’s minds, bodies and souls.
Title of my autobiography:
“Diary of a Warrior: Laughing in the Face of Fear”
