Associate Vice President

Responsibilities – Pivotal Client and Agency Leadership
- Provide trusted marketing counsel and advice to client CEOs and leaders
- Research, develop and lead strategic marketing plans that drive measurable results
- Conceive, draft and develop compelling content across all digital and traditional channels
- Lead, inspire and mentor junior team members to drive high performance, culture and comradery
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing, PR, and social media strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Guide the creation of high-impact, multi-channel content – including earned media, social media, digital, and traditional communications
- Oversee and direct social media strategy for clients – from platform selection and content planning to community management, paid campaigns, and performance analytics
- Direct strategy for high-value media placements by leveraging strong relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, influencers, and digital platforms
- Manage and own all aspects of client campaign materials, activities and results
- Manage account finances, contracts, budgets, reporting, invoicing and collections
- Drive agency growth via proactive prospecting, nurturing, proposing, presenting and closing
- Lead crisis response and issue control campaigns
- Facilitate agency’s on-site client workshops (branding, media training, presentation, crisis, storytelling)
- Collaborate with agency leaders to enhance and expand agency core offerings and services
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in communications marketing and/or related fields
- B2C and B2B experience preferred
- Senior-level writing, editing, and strategic planning skills, with an emphasis on messaging that drives media interest and audience engagement
- Command of leading digital and traditional communication practices and strategies
- Senior-level strategy, writing and verbal skills
- Leadership presence – commands confidence via decisive action, focus and urgency
- Active learner – continuously develops new knowledge and skills

Account Supervisor Responsibilities
- Serve as primary client lead, counseling clients and driving PR and integrated marketing strategies
- Co-develop and deploy smart content campaigns in all formats, across digital, social and traditional channels
- Manage the development and distribution of insight-based thought leadership pieces
- Work with our design team to direct the production of creative materials and campaigns
- Lead and manage social media strategy and execution, including content development, channel planning, community engagement, monitoring, and performance analytics
- Maintain strong relationships with top-tier mainstream and trade media outlets, influencers, and digital creators to secure impactful coverage
- Co-facilitate agency’s signature client workshops (media training, presentation, crisis, storytelling)
- Mentor junior team members to inspire higher levels of quality, performance, culture and comradery
- Manage account finances, contracts, budgets, reporting, invoicing and collections
- Support evolution of agency’s core offerings and growth initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years B2B and B2C agency experience
- Demonstrated success in business-driven marketing and strategy (traditional / digital channels)
- Proven success with top-tier mainstream and trade media outlets
- Proven track record of leading integrated PR and social campaigns that deliver measurable results
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, etc.) and how to optimize content for each
- Strong senior-level writing skills – releases, plans, blogs, op-eds, videos and web content
- Polished verbal skills that command confidence from clients and media
- Fluent in fundamentals of business, marketing and metrics
- Great under pressure – focused, decisive, urgent
- Active learner – continuously pursues and applies new knowledge and skills

Design Intern
We’re looking for hardworking students or recent grads with a passion for design to join our creative team. We’re seeking candidates who are studying graphic or web design (or similar design disciplines) and are passionate about illustration, animation, editorial design and the world of design and creativity in general.
Interns that work with Braithwaite’s Creative team will have a wonderful opportunity to observe and participate in the development and ongoing creative for a variety of large and influential brands that we work with.
Specifically they can expect to:
Design
- Assist the Creative Director, Art Director and Designers with projects such as branding, websites, brochures, e-books, posters, PowerPoints, etc.
Meetings
- Participate in our weekly Friday, “This week I learned” design learning and inspiration meeting.
- Participate in our bi-weekly staff meeting to see how our agency functions as a cohesive unit.
